Faith

praying-hands-306887_960_720Faith should be “belief without proof”, NOT “belief despite proof”.

This is an important factor when evaluating any religion.  If a religion requires you to believe in events or concepts that defy known facts, you should be careful.

I’m not suggesting that religions are bad.

Religions are good for the believers and society and are generally 99% true.  Don’t be afraid to disbelieve the 1% you know to be wrong.  Take the good, NOT the bad.

If it smells like a bull and smells like poop, the it probably is just that.
